Hey there!
Welcome to the 4th edition of What’s New in Testfully newsletter!
As promised in the last newsletter, we have been working hard on Testfully Offline and we’re excited to share that we’ve released the stable version of Testfully Offline to all our users in September.
For those of you who are new to Testfully Offline, it’s a desktop app as powerful as Testfully Cloud, with the added benefit of being able to store your data locally.
We also got to roll out a few improvements to our existing features so without further ado, let’s dive in!
We work closely with our users to shape the future of our product so if you have a feature in mind, please do share it with me via
matt@testfully.io
or via Testfully’s roadmap page.
Testfully Offline
Testfully Offline and Testfully Cloud are both available via the Testfully desktop app 1.69.0 or higher. If you’re running on an older version of the desktop app, please update it to the latest version manually. Due to a bug in the auto-update mechanism, you won’t be able to update the desktop app automatically.
How to Use Testfully Offline
- Open the app, click on your profile icon, and select “Offline Workspace”
- You DO NOT need to have an account to use Testfully Offline.
Two Versions to Suit Your Needs
- Testfully Offline is free for personal use or as part of an open source, or non-profit project.
- Please purchase a license for commercial use of Testfully Offline.
- Testfully License is a one-time purchase and gives you permission to use Testfully Offline for commercial purposes for life.
- The license enables you to use Testfully Offline on one device.
- The license offers two years of free updates. After two years, you can continue to use the version you have or purchase a new license at discounted price.
- Use the promo code OFFLINE20 at checkout to get 20% off. By purchasing a license, you support an independent software maker.
A more powerful Importer tool
We have added a few new features to the Importer tool to make it more powerful and easier to use.
- You can now import Postman Backup (dump) & Insomnia Backup files with multiple collections, requests, and environments.
- Import Postman Environment files via the Importer tool.
- We have fixed a few bugs related to importing Insomnia collections.
That’s all for September 2023. We hope these new features help you be more productive at work. Have fun and see you next month!
